Auction closed for MLB All-Star Game tickets to End Polio Now

The winning eBay bid was US$1,325 for two tickets to the 2009 Major League Baseball All-Star Game on 14 July at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. The auction closed 11 July.

The proceeds from the sale of the tickets will be given to The Rotary Foundation in support of polio eradication. Rotary International is working to raise an additional $200 million to match a $355 million challenge grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, all of it for polio eradication activities.

If you weren't able to make the game, you can still join the more than 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide who have contributed toward the success of the polio eradication effort to date, and make a contribution now.
